Brand strategy, innovation and launch

Urban Fresh Fruit is a small dried fruit business with wide listings across key grocery multiples in the UK. Primarily focused in home baking HELM was involved to review the brand strategy and helped create a recommendation for growth.

HELM’s proposed strategy lead to the creation of a new snacking brand called BEAR. HELM worked with the team to develop this new line and then introduced key partners in packaging, research, PR and sales to bring it to life. HELM effectively acted as a ‘mini’ marketing director managing the entire process and supported the full launch in the trade.

To respond to the tight budget HELM used innovative low cost on line techniques. The techniques created a powerful trade argument which have helped secure national distribution.

Concept to launch was completed within 6 months.

Innovation Outsourcing

Dailycer are a key supplier of breakfast cereal in the UK. With restricted resources HELM as asked to assess innovation opportunities for the company.

HELM looked at the key assets within the company and then developed and innovation map. The map generated concepts which were assessed through qualitative and quantitative research. At each stage the concepts were refined and the final recommendations benchmarked against UK innovation hurdles

The project had very tight restraints and HELM was able to provide the company with two winning concepts that leveraged the companies existing assets. The project was completely outsourced and HELM used independent experts in research and brand development to assist the process. The project was completed from start to finish in 10 weeks.
